We just put the stinky leftover chicken bones in a reused small grocery store bag, tie the handles and put in the garage freezer. Then on trash day, in the trash bucket they go.

Every few years palmetto bugs get in the house. Love bugs are a huge problem, as they destroy the paint on the car.

Yes, they are a huge problem. They take a lot of elbow grease to remove because they turn into concrete the second they hit your car.

They also come back in mid September. So you can see why the snowbirds try to get on the road first week of May and return first week in October.

They are disgusting. The love bugs that is.

I hate love bugs. I recently learned that they are attracted to smoke when I tried grilling (unless those are not love bugs who came rushing to my patio!!!)

Bugs, I have lived here in FL for over 30 years, I am sure the bugs are much worse than what is being reported here.

seems like the LB season was a quickie - they don't seem to be splattering on the front of my hood anymore......that lasted only 2-3 weeks

I'm sure it's different in different locations. No one has a reason to lie about how many or how few bugs they have.

We shall see what the summer brings. I'm willing to bet we will have mud wasps over this way, as I can see remnant stains on my house. Had them everywhere I have ever lived, except MA....but then I had other pests there.

There is always something to deal with no matter where you live....eventually.

My only gripe is the mosquitoes. My monthly exterminator visit seems to handle everything else. I'm getting ready to stock up on citronella.
