I didn't know Tennessee had high school rodeo, either, until I saw that they had a state tournament in Cookeville last month. I would've enjoyed going had I known about it in advance.

Default East, West, or Middle

What do you guys think is the best part of TN? The East, West, or Middle. I think I'm leaning toward the East, but I'd love to hear what you all think!

I like East best because of the mountains.

While all of TN has good points, I agree that East TN cannot be beat.

It all depends upon what you like as all are distinctly different. I love the east side as well because of the mountains...love the rolling green hills of middle tennessee. Some wonderfully friendly people in west Tennessee.

I'm in middle Tennessee because of family, so I'd have to say I love Middle Tennessee best!

After exploring the State on multiple trips, we chose East.

Most people choose Middle or East. West Tennessee (except Memphis) is largely rural, and it's much more flat than its easterly sibling sections. Middle Tennessee is largely devoted to the Nashville metro and Clarksville, but Fayetteville/southern middle TN are growing thanks to Huntsville AL and the UT Institute in Tullahoma.

Of course East TN is beautiful. I think it's hands down east TN or Nashville metro. I wouldn't live in any other part of the state. Of course, I'm heavily biased.

I agree...it all depends on what you like. East Tennessee is beautiful....but I love living in Nashville. I have everything I want here...and I'm only a short drive away from the mountains when I need them. Tennessee is very diverse...as far as topography...so I would start with what's important to you.
