Thanks for the input, my dear hubby has been having doubts about our move (worried about leaving a secure job). But it truly seems as if this move would be good for our family. I love the input! Thanks!

Could you post a good online realtor that may have some listings? I have visited your area, but it's really hard to find the really great places (like yours! it's gorgeous) without a realtor! Can one be recommended without breaking a rule on this forum?

Traveler,

Try realtor.com -- just enter your preferences and you'll find listings from all realtors. You might also try 'for sale by owner' websites -- just google it along with the area and you'll find websites.

What is McMinnville like?

I used to go up to a friend's place in Gainesboro a few weeks a year and old family farms were being auctioned off. When the older people passed away, the children didn't want to move there!

Jhubtin,
Those pics are incredible! I'm new at this forum thing and haven't figured out how to post attachments, etc... but just loved your pics. Thanks for sharing. I'm thinking about buying a homesite at Hawks Bluff, but really would like to get some info about where else in TN I can buy a nice property for a good price. Are you in a development in Monterey? How did you find this gorgeous property? All advise is welcomed.

Mrs1885 I have the same question as CAtoGA, are those totals for the year or monthly?
Look forward to your reply...

Jhubtin ,
Hello! Those are great photo's. Love the color of the leaves.
Anyhow, realistate has gone up alot in Florida. The town we lived in was Springhill. The house we sold in 1998 sold for 96k, now sells for 400k what a increase. Just because they put a bypass in, that is quicker to Tampa.
Went to Tennessee to look at land 1/2 acre in Servier county TN was 75k on the average. A lot with a house averages about 300k for 2500 sq feet. 3 bed 2 bathrooms. Amazing isn't it.

Was not sure of the city you wanted so you can put that in when you go into home page.
