you have no idea what you're talking. Rice U, Rice Village are literally a stones throw from the Medical Center. And medical center traffic is not dead. There are plenty of people that use the lightrail to and from their jobs in the med center.

True, not much housing or retail in the medical center itself, but close enough access to it though.

How crazy is that?

Any stats on DT Fort Worth?

Its probably about the size of Houston's Greenway Plaza.
Yes DT FW is about the size of Greenway at about 10M sq feet. It is larger than DT Austin or SA. It is smaller than Greenspoint and Westchase though

You'd be surprised.

Uptown Houston might as well be its own separate city & skyline.

I know for sure its about the size of DT Denver.

Why are y'all getting so excited about office space? People brag about stupid things these days.

Office space doesn't contribute to the vibrancy of a area. If it did, Houston would have one of the most vibrant Downtown in the Nation.

And yet DT Fort Worth, as small as it may be, is more vibrant than any neighborhood in Houston or Dallas. Downtown Austin is more vibrant than Houston or Dallas. Office space is office space. It does nothing to provide soul, substance, or character to a city.

Exactly! A normal person doesn't give a rat's behind about how much office space a certain area has.

I believe the title of this thread was about skylines, not which city has the more vibrant downtown.

Office space & skylines go hand in hand. Night life does not.

Keep your garbage in the Dallas Vs. Houston thread that was dead a long time ago.

Office space has nothing to do with skylines. So keep your office space garbage in the Dallas v. Houston thread.
