Beautiful pictures, Lakewooder. I can assure everyone that this is what the areas outside of the built up area and around the lakes look like as well.

I had already posted some examples from some of the same areas, but like I said, he just wants to play dumb.

Yes. Tell me that compared to those links Mobile Dave posted, there are parts of DFW where the trees are that numerous and that tall. Go ahead and lie like a rug.

Doesent the number of trees in a part of Dallas depend on the size of the part?

Actually, there are many places in DFW where the trees are just a few feet apart. Helps keep the Californians out.

Houston trees are taller? OK, the next time I want to climb a tree, I'll do it in Dallas. Easier to get to the top. Unfortunately when you climb a tree in either city, all you see are the tops of the other trees.

Check out my new thread. It says that Dallas and Houston are each other's favorite destinations.

Of course Dallas isnt barren in the literal sense of the word. When I say barren, I mean relatively speaking...and its only the denial of that which I find controversial. DFW has trees. I dont deny that DFW has trees. Just not the abundance, the kind nor the height/circumference that I prefer.

Relatively speaking? You got some pretty colorful relatives... must be kissin cousins...

Reminds me of the old tune "I'm my own granpa".

Answer my question, dallasboi: Where in Dallas am I going to find trees as numerous and as tall as those examples that were inside the City of Houston?

Take your time.
