This is another inane discussion. Do you know there are actual facts on city-data?

Dallas, percent Catholic 39.3%
Houston, percent Catholic 36.1%

//www.city-data.com/city/Texas.html

I love it when people say they like to support their statements with facts when most of their negative statements about Dallas are purely subjective.

And furthermore, why do we keep having this same tired discussion? Dallas and Houston are both great cities. If a lot of insecure people on both sides of the fence would just get back on their medication then maybe we could move on to something that matters.

I think you mean you just like to change the argument once your original assertion has been torn to shreds.

City boundaries differentiate. Using city limits isn't a good example.
However, I do think people tend to overrate the diversity of Houston. They are both very diverse with Houston taking the lend [not exceptionally, but still ahead].

I don't know about overrating. Houston just feels a lot more diverse than DFW, even if it may not be. The Houston metro still has more Blacks, Asians, and Hispanics than DFW, despite having 600K less people overall.

I agree, but we can't deny when looking at numbers than Dallas is much more diverse than given credit for.

I think that is because Houston and its suburbs are more integrated than DFW

There's no way in hell Houston's poodles come close to Dallas's poodles. Houston's poodles, just on the feel I get when I drive through the area, have a much higher concentration of mixed breeds. Dallas, having paid more for their pure-blooded poodles, definitely pamper and take care of them more. Just look at the percentages in Houston shelters compared to Dallas for crying out loud! If we bring CoCo into the mix, it's no longer worth discussing. Their poodles even make me jealous.

I disagree. If you add in the suburbs to the north and the South west of Houston you will see some of the purest poodles in the state. Plus Houston having the port right there is a major entry way for poodles and thus we get them in their purest state.
