How did you know I wear panties?
Anyway, you haven't said anything to counter the detail that I provided in my posts making an argument for a comfortable and affordable living in Toronto other than a blanket statement that it is expensive. I provide detail of stores and areas right Downtown that are actually quite cheap for goods and you counter with?? Sure there are discount places in other cities - but the fact is they exist in T.O so the fact they do exist means there are affordable options... I should know I live Downtown and if anyone knows where to look for good prices it is me and they are here!
Actually NYC and most specifically I would say the most interesting parts are ridiculously expensive - Toronto would be a huge bargain in comparison.
As for your shots about Toronto not being unique or interesting, well I suppose we all are entitled to our opinion. Fortunately, most who live and actually really visit the city don't feel that way.
Btw why is someone in Murietta California so concerned about Toronto? I'm not the slightest interested in Los Angeles but I don't go into the L.A section of these forums professing my indifferent opinion of the place. I've been to California three times, twice to San Francisco and once to San Diego and purposefully avoided L.A due to lack of interest.
Perhaps the poster questioning the affordability of Toronto has visited and is genuinely interested in moving to our great city because they enjoyed the experience. What the motivation of your posts is truly puzzling.

There is nothing unique about Toronto, It is not a bad place but is just another large city and a very expensive one. If you want a unique city in Canada, look at Montreal.
FYi, I do like large cities that are interesting like NYC.
