If you have a vehicle with air suspension you better have one heck of a warranty or a hefty savings account.

I am guessing this is the mechanic's opinion of a Lexus with air suspension - cha ching!

I agree. However the air suspension on a Toyota/Lexus product seems to be well made. In ten years I never had any issues with mine on the 4runner of the Lexus es350 I owned. All others have had major issues.

And you didn't think to take it to another shop for a second opinion?
probably the knock sensors. Add the labor to get to them, parts replaced on the way down and back up and guess what number you'll hit.

I have a lexus gx 470 03 it runs onlyon 4x4 mode, any help please.

It's a Full Time computer controlled 4x4. There is no shutting it off.
