I buy 93 octane premium, but noticed 87 octane regular sells for $3.859/gal. at a local gas station. When I was in CA last week, regular was in the $4.30-something per gal. and diesel was a buck more!

It does not matter in my opinion and from my experience.
I would not use gas from any off stations (in Jersey Delta) only Shell, Sunoco, Gulf, BP,
Texaco or Exxon. I don't know about Costco never used.
By the way regular gas at Sunoco - $3.79 to-day in Bergen County, New Jersey
we are at $4.15 for regular, here is sugar grove, just west of chicago.
I noticed that diesel is $4.85..anyone know how many miles to the gallon they get for a semi? no wonder the price of everything is up up up!
