Most journalism on cases like this are rarely accurate.

There were so many variations of what was written by journalists during the massive coverage of JonBennet Ramsey, it was hard to tell what was truth or fabricated.

I think the Mom was drunk, probably cheating on her spouse, and does not know what happened because she was "busy". There could have been any number of people in and out of the house that night. I don't think a stranger off the street wandered in and took Baby Lisa though. Creepy.

I saw an interesting interview this morning of Mark Fuhrman, an ex-LAPD detective. He said that while the police might not think Deborah is guilty, her refusal to talk again to the police, and not let the kids talk is a huge red flag. Not necessarily about the baby, (although it could be) but at least that something happened that she doesn't want the police to find out about, and for some reason, she thinks that's more important than finding the baby.

He gave the impression that the police are about at the end of their investigation. They've followed every available lead, and if they really think Deborah is holding something back that's crucial, I can see the point that they'd give up until something new surfaces.

This link was interesting...during the 17hr investigation they removed a carpet from one of the rooms. It wasn't the carpet from the bedroom where the cadaver dogs got a hit??

just her and not Jeremy?

From what I heard about the carpet that was tested. The carpet CSI brought it out from the shed.. and then I heard they put it back again.

In the articles that I read it said that cadaver dogs hit on an area right below the bed, so the dogs could have hit on a towel or a bedspread that was laying there. The cars bedspread maybe?)
The search warrant listed a Cars bedspread so maybe thats where the hit came from. There were other items on the search warrant but they couldn't be made public.

I don't know, I suppose miracles happen, after all, I was sure Elizabeth Smart was dead. Maybe there will be a strange twist to this story, and she will turn up alive in 18 years or so.

There is an article that was posted yesterday on the Kansas City Star site. It's all about Debra, "From Mother Hen to Media Villain ." Just unbelievable.
