JenniferL and other conspiracy theorists: again, I am curious as to WHY some people need to see a conspiracy behind this horrendous event? What, exactly, do they think happened, and more importantly, WHY -- WHY would such an event be made up? No one ever seems to have an answer to those questions. (Third time I've asked IN THIS THREAD, but the conspiracy theorists have ignored my posts.)
The conspiracy that you seem to think happened would have taken the cooperation of hundreds if not thousands of individuals, all keeping some "secret of Newtown." (Sounds like a bad movie on the sci-fi channel.) It boggles the mind that anyone with a working brain could believe such a thing.

Where have you been? The government did this to provide an excuse to take away everyone's guns so they can round people up and put them in concentration camps. Thousands, if not tens of thousands, of Americans hold this belief dear to their hearts. They WANT to believe it. It excites and gratifies them on some level, but I don't have the answer to the "why" for that part.

I've heard that as an explanation, but it is so insane that I can't believe any rational person could believe it.

But seriously, I also wonder, how do they think this grand conspiracy was carried out? So the hundreds if not thousands of people who were involved are somehow all keeping this secret? Really? Given how bad we humans are at keeping secrets, I just find it, well, um, unlikely.
I can understand why they would want to learn as much about the crime scene and the events that happened that day. I do not understand why doing that in a cleaned environment is mandatory, though.
This doesn't convey what I meant. I don't see why it makes a difference if the classroom is cleaned before they practiced and learned more about events that day.
Remember when the little boy was kidnapped and held in the underground bunker? The kidnapper installed some kind of PVC pipe through which to communicate with law enforcement. It took several days for them to rescue the child because they built a bunker of approximately the same dimensions in order to practice before going in to rescue the child. In retrospect, it might have appeared that they were losing valuable time while trying to develop a rescue plan, but the desired result - rescuing the child ALIVE - was the most important goal.
Regarding Sandy Hook, it was simply too late. None of the children or the shooter were alive by the time law enforcement arrived. Other than photographs, the weapon(s) and spent bullets, what could they possibly gain by reenacting events in a blood spattered room? I have thought about this many times and I still don't understand why CLEANING the area is viewed as "suspicious" in the least.

Those questions were asked ad infinitum on the other Sandy Hook thread. It appears that no one who believes it's a conspiracy even cares to respond...
