If the girls are doing fine where they are... I say don't rock the boat...not sure shipping them off to Connecticut to live with the "alleged" murderers mom would be better...
They're having a rough time, or so I read. Teresa's mother has custody in FL. Their Connecticut home was where the Sievers vacationed in 2015 when Teresa left early alone for work.

Actually Teresa's mom lives in CT. Grandpa is having difficulty traveling back and forth which is why she wants to move the kids up there. I think they need to get out of FL before the trial. That will be brutal for them in the schoolyard.
A link confirming Lillys post. The link I reads down. Perhaps incorrect. No reason stated other than our apologies. Edit:
Groves discussed personal concerns over her aging husband, who still lives in Connecticut and traveled to Lee County to visit on multiple occasions on his own.

Ok now I understand, thought the paternal grandparents were trying to move them...now it makes sense!

Sorry misunderstood...this case has dragged on...must be awful for Teresa's children and parents.
Jury recommends death penalty for Mark Sievers. I guess in Florida a judge has the final decision on that?
Some talking heads are wondering how Mark can get death when the 2 people who actually killed her pled to 2nd degree and one got 25 years. The other hasn't been sentenced yet.
I think it's perfectly fair because without Mark, Teresa would still be alive. He's the one who wanted her dead, and he's the one who persuaded the other 2 to do it. They'd never have killed her on their own.
