I actually just joined a crime forum and they linked a MSNBC story quoting the same confession. Pages and pages of info and a large membership base.

Some of the members are bantering about not believing the reason he claims he killled her ie. her snooping on his laptop.

Peruvian police might have beat confession out of him, based on Joran's personality and past history to not confess to murder.

Nah they don't believe it was beat out of him. They are saying they threatened to release him to general population and he cracked.

The guy definitely has violent issues towards women. Does anyone know about his mother? Was she a prostitute? Did she abandon him when he was an infant?

Let justice prevail for all the women he killed!!!! I doubt that these 2 are the only ones he killed.

What a scumbag. Leave him in a room with me for 2 minutes and he will be begging for mercy. I only regret he breathes our air and drinks our water. Scum bag trash.

The other message board (CNN is also currently reporting with a break in story) is reporting that in Peru they often issue a lighter sentence in cases where the suspect confesses. Apparently the judge will have much more respect for those that confess! There is no death penalty or life sentence in the Peruvian justice system.

They say he will face 15 to 35 years with half off for good time. The boy could get off after a 7 year stint...can ya believe it
