They look simple and elegant and maybe made for her. I think someone picks them out for her and they are not inexpensive.
It's a fracking national TV show do you think that the want people looking like slobs on camera???

I had a good friend is a lot like Christine I used to ask her if she would just ratchet down the over achieving Asian thing and just be excellent for a couple of days.

(By the way, I know just as many underachieving Asian Americans. I used to tell them that they were a credit to their race for being average like everybody else. It good to break stereotypes. I've always been proud of the fact that I can't play basketball.)

I was late coming to this party, but I did see the last season. It was good television, and I was amazed and inspired at Christine's refusal to let blindness prevent her from following her dream of being a chef.

I will note that there is certainly a difference between the participants on Master Chef v Hell's Kitchen. I cannot imagine any of the HK people being on MC (or any other cooking show, for that matter).

I know right, like any decent chef would use Walmart meat! The only meat I buy at Walmart is chicken to make my dogs' jerky!

Walfart's meat is slimy, fatty and just nasty. I wouldn't give it to my pets. Sorry...

Yay! Favorite show of the summer.

I would imagine Walmart is giving them a nice chunk of change, so don't count on them disappearing.
