Monti was good....but too me not good enough to progress to the next round. I think it was time for her to go this week, although the other competitors will need to also step up their game this week. For some reason, I just don't think Becky is going to win (she's not one of favorites). I think Christine may end up winning (or Josh).
I find it remarkable that Christine is able to replicate dishes through taste, smell, and touch. Hers was by far the closest to Chef Lumpy's dish (I can't remember his name). Even Joe just shakes his head trying to figure out how she does it. Since Monti's dream is a food truck, I'm surprised they didn't offer her one last night. They promised David a position in a great restaurant and he isn't nearly the chef that Monti is. I hope she can fulfill her dream. I'm hoping Frank goes next. After he put Josh up for elimination last week, I was hoping to see him go.
Christine just amazes me. I cannot imagine working with knives and hot stoves, let alone the food I'm working with without my sight. She's just phenomenal!
I was hoping Frank would win it over Josh. I really don't like Josh that much. And I wish he'd stop whining over Frank putting him up for elimination. It's a contest, not a best friend hand holding dance. Now that Frank and Monti are gone (my 2 favorites) I'm hoping Christine wins it. I don't like Becky.
I don't think Josh will win. I'm actually thinking it will be Becky. I do like Christine, but I think it's going to be Becky - who I don't care for whatsoever...
I know they do a lot of editing after the fact, and I know these shows welcome controversy from the contestants, but I loathed Frank's smug attitude when he went head to head with Josh. I don't know the quality of their cooking, but Josh does seem to be the better person of the two.
I think that all three who are left seem to be fine people whom I would be happy to see take the prize. I am glad that it turned out to be these three.
