I will conceed that Thomas seems more driven by completing the mission...... so maybe that will push him over the edge if she gets in his way too much. I think he used to defer to her but too much time has passed for her to effectively control him.

Well he didn't go through with it...but I just KNEW he was planning it!

Anybody else think this show would be so much better without the story with the young couple(Sean and Leila). First they got separated and now have to find the girls younger sister.
I have actually turned the station when their little story comes up. Its kinda Dull.

Why watch it then? Sean and Leila are at the center or the story. Without them it wouldn't work at all. For me it's the opposite...without them, it would be dull!

Don't tell me they are pulling a Flash Forward on this show?

So many boring crime procedurals they could ditch, but they get the ratings.

The V showed a fleet of spaceship preparing for an Invasion before taking their break.

The Event shows the aliens launch a communication satellite....

Producers love their cliffhangers.

It's supposed to return with a two-parter on Feb. 28. And I couldn't watch V...just something about it...that alien woman gives me the creeps!

Season 1 resumes on Feb. 28. What was the 4 months hiatus for? I think there are supposed to be 12 more episodes for the remainder of Season 1.

I didn't watch The Event when it first aired at the end of last year. However, I noticed that all ten of the episodes that aired before the hiatus were available in the 'Free On Demand' section of my digital cable offerings so I ended up watching them in a marathon a few days ago. I'm hooked! It was really useful to watch them in this manner because I could pause the episode, say 'WTF is going on ?', gather my thoughts, and then resume.

I could also rewind parts that confused me. Plus, watching the episodes back to back made it easier to maintain focus and not forget things.

When the remainder of Season 1 resumes on Feb. 28, I'm going to DVR the episodes so I can pause & rewind and watch them in blocks. I can't wait. I have so many theories and questions swirling around in my head.

Let's hope these episodes are better! It was faltering a bit and lost some viewers. IMO, the biggest problem is that NBC doesn't know what to do with this kind of show. They aren't the best network for a show that requires a great deal of creativity and the best writers around.

We had to stop watching this show before it went on hiatus. It was just too convoluted. They hyped themselves as replacing Lost..not even close. and also as exciting as 24..Not! we just gave up and don't really miss it at all.
