Are you kidding me? How many episodes were there -- six?
Season 7 has a total of 8 episodes with the season finale on march 4th. I sometimes watch the doc martin repeats but not often. Maybe the british have shorter tv seasons then the yanks.
I visited Port Isaac where the programme is filmed last year, but no filming was going on at that time, I did however get to stand outside his surgery which is a fenced off big house used only for filming... lovely place to visit.. and im going back in April..http://www.radiotimes.com/news/2015-...ins-port-isaac

Lucky you. I would love to visit port Isaac. I have been to london but that was years ago.

Martin Clunes' guide to Port Isaac
Cool. I noticed that it is always summer there, and it never rains. It must be a popular spot in England.

Its a lovely place full of charm ... but then all around Cornwall is like that.. we even travelled to Delabole to try and see some of the cast as they live there when filming... but alas no... didnt see anything..
Mrs.Tishell is a riot. I enjoy her character very much. I was abit surprised to see a american on the show. Sigourney weaver had a small part in episode 7.
Doc has gotten too rough around the edges. He used to have charm. Now he's just bitter.
And with Auntie Joan dead, it just isn't the same. I don't care for the new auntie, and I'm not fond of the new receptionist. It's just gotten too bitter.
I'll continue to watch and I hope it's true there will be more episodes, but I don't look forward to it like I used to.

Full of charm for now but immigrants are all heading to the English country side towns now , sad but true
Is it PBS or our local station ? We get 2 shows back to back but unfortunately not on any predictable schedule.
It's on PBS. Looks like we'll be having re-runs for awhile after Season 7 finishes airing. It's already done in my Northern California area. Season 8 won't shoot until next year so it won't air in the US until winter of 2017/2018. What a long dry spell.
I noticed recognizable landmarks in the background when they show the long distance views of the coast of Cornwall. I could see the same cliffs and meadows that appear in Poldark. I'd bet the whole Cornwall area gets a lot of revenue from various productions. I'd love to be there when they're shooting. That would just be too much fun.
