There are people I like on the OC show...Vicki's daughter Briana and Don.
And while I loved Jeanna, Her two older children (Cara and whats his name I can't remember) were so self absorbed and disrespectful. I don't know how she gave birth to them.
I actually liked Cara....she said some comical things (at least for me...but you have to understand my sense of humor ) I couldn't stand her two sons.
Gretchen is my favorite housewife of OC...plastic as she may be and all, she has held her own against the antagonism of Tamra and Vicki. Tamra's finally getting payback from the way she treated her. I guess she thought Gretchen had selective memory and would forget that. I was never really a fan of Lauri, but I did like Jo.

While I understand that the women on all the franchuses try to portray themselves as people they would truly like to be, the whole Tamra thing has me scratching my head as to who her role model is. I can understand that she must have had a brutal divorce and a truly sad end to her marriage. It truly must have sucked. If rumours are to be believed, she was the was one who initiated the dalliances outside the current marriage. That also seems to be supported by the fact that kids spend moe time with their Dad than her.
Here's my question though: So somehow you throw off the shackles of your old marriage. You're bright enough to know you need to downsize like STAT (do we know if she does any work?). I'm right there were at this point ready to cheer her on to bigger and better things and then ... she just becomes Tamara. Everyone is jealous of her, and in her opening lines, rather than letting us know she be calling the girlfriends, we're told instead she is getting in touch with her Bit5hes. Really? Vulgarity before the open credits are even done? And, of course, the hiring of the shirtless bartender. Well, yes, nothing really says class quite so well.
I'll do us all a favor by skipping over the Evil Eye hat (which I thought was a joke) and watch that little caboose hook itself up to big train with it's next stop in Crazy Town. Seriously now, who among of have to endure a Cat Fight outside among friends and acquaintances during a simple afternoon cocktail party? Personally, I would find the nearest rose bush and thrust myself behind it in order to stay out of the fabricated drama.
One final note for Tamra, the person or character you are so desperately trying to design yourself around would appear to be 3rd rate porn stars. This approach, I can guarantee you, will not bring you the class and respect you seem to desire so deeply. Whatever switch in your head said it was OK to perform a soft port scene for us watchers of Bravo by sharing a bath, and oh so much more, with this new guy you met, I would seriously have it recalibrated. Look, in the end, you are doing nothing but entertaining us and giving us something to comment on. So I have no complaints on that end.
Where I think you may be missing the point, however, is in the fact that you DO have children. Any I had to break it to you, but kids can be cruel. The fodder you are providing borders on wreckless. No one is saying you shouldn't have your new guy. The word of warning is to be aware of the cameras rolling when he is around. A few moe dalliances like that and you are practically building Simon's case when custody comes up as an issue. The problem is that I really do think that YOU think you are smart and this is all under control. The sad fact, Tamra, is that it's not true.
I sincerely wish the best for you during this season and in your own life. Just slow it down a bit. Not everyone is out to get you, there really are any number of women who are better looking than you, Try to look beyond what you're hoping this season brings you and instead forecast further out. And please bear in mind: very little is not known by kids. They pick things up quickly and they judge far faster and with a strong sense of loyality.
Tamra is not better nor worse as far as morals go then the other women on this show. With or without children of her own, Gretchen is involved with a guy who has children-one very sick child and they come as a package deal. So she should be behaving and dealing with her boy toy's sick child. Oh..but wait.........she didn't deal with her own fiance when he lay dying in the hospital. Gretchen is just nasty to me. Like there is not enough soap on this earth to clean the scum off.
No need to run down the list of names and their bad characteristics............they ALL have issues I wouldn't want.

I'm back, just for you Pips I am going to try my hardest to regularly visit...as long as there's some controversial TV, then I'm all game--and speaking of controversy, I loves ya Pips, but we will fight over Gretchen....I'm one of her biggest fans (unless she pulls something like Danielle in RHONJ and just goes crazy this season)!

Tamra had a lot of nerve calling out Gretchen. She may be a golddigger and a skank but Miss Thing has kids. Get the cameras out of the bathroom, too, Tamra. I just can't stand Gretchen or Tamra.
And Vicki. Man, that woman is pure trash yet can't seem to keep her nose out of everyone's business; she's a horrible friend and a hypocrite. And obnoxious. REALLY obnoxious. I feel bad for her daughter. Run, Bree, run! Run just like poor Don!
I liked Jeana's daughter, too. I couldn't stand her oldest son. A nut just like the father, yet he didn't get hit in the head.
I always feel bad for Vicki's son. Remember when she showed up to his college on game day? Yet, she claims that her son isn't rude like Lauri's. Vicki, your son hates you, and he has good reason too.
Anyone question how Vicki's son got his degree so quickly? How did he go from flunking out of college to getting a degree? Did I miss something? (Probably!)
I use to feel sorry for Vicki but when they brought hippie Lynn on she was inexcusably rude. I understand she's spent her entire life trying to portray herself as something she's not but that's no reason to take it out on other people. No waterfall in the backyard can make up for that sort of rude behavior.
