Well, heck, I quit watching when I heard about the couples twist. I would check on here because I did want to know if any of the newbies could pull anything out of their @&&, but, I never heard what Dick said. Did he get mad at the others for the way they treated Dani, or some of the things they said about her? Was Dick mean to Dani this last time they were on TV at the end of the show?

He joked about her bad game play - and she rolled her eyes at his comments - but they both know each other well enough to not take it too seriously, so they had fun with it.
Bottom line, they're both pros at this point - so it was more show, than anything else.

I saw it differently. She looked wounded by his critique of her on the finale show. From my understanding she doesn't have much to do with him. She rarely speaks to him and has gone years at a time not talking to him. It's not an easy relationship.

Looked wounded? Of course it's not an easy relationship - but Dani's tough and she's been around the block. She may not like what her father had to say, but I didn't see anything wounded about her that night.

I absolutely saw both anger and pain in her face. We can agree to disagree.

Dani appears tough on the outside, but she is really a wounded person. Her parents pretty much abandoned her and her brother when she was very little. She was raised by Dick's mother, and Dick was in and out of her life. Her mother remarried and had a new husband and gave birth to new children. Dani is very self protective due to all the hurt. Her father was scary and nasty when he was around.
Evil Dick is a junkie....pure and simple, he may not be using RIGHT this instant but he is a junkie and is deserving of ALL the respect I would normally muster for a lowlife street junkie.

I know about Dani's history gimme it - I just give her a little more credit, and think she's a little more evolved than that. She's no victim!
It was the finale and she knew she'd see him - and he didn't say anything that bad - so no, I don't think she was at all surprised by what he said. As long as she can roll her eyes at him and laugh, I'm going to assume she's okay!
I read something about this somewhere...but it was all rumors.
