Does anyone have a link to the battles they did not show? That drives me nuts, and some of the ones they didn't show were the ones I really was looking forward to seeing!
Have you noticed they are showing the "winner" after they have been chosen, with their parents or loved ones? They didn't do that last year, and I was so glad because they did it the year before. I think they should cut that and show all of the auditions. I really don't think it's a problem with time though. Someone said the other day when it was on for 2 hours, they only showed 6 battle rounds. Thats crazy.

I also wanted to see the Morgan Twins. Not because I liked them, but I imagined that they were a one trick pony with 'Fallen' since it is the exact same song they auditioned for with Idol all those years ago. I guess I was right, since they didn't move on, but I wanted to see it anyway.
I'm also bummed about not seeing the battle Mon night with Bobby McGee. The clip made it look good, and I love that song. Though after listening to the winner on iTunes, I'm not sure if I would have liked the battle.
Overall, I was very unimpressed with last night. And that horrid Lady Antebellum song (I had never formed an opinion of them one way or another) made me think that Sarah Simmons is no better than a Tuesday night karaoke singer. And I thought she was one of the best...before.
I am so loving Shakira and Usher....What nice caring people. I adore Blake and Adam....And am really enjoying watching all four judges...Great season. And the TALENT!! Wow!!
Im loving all the incredible talent. I cant help but think that they didnt save the best voice though. The white guy with the dreads lost and no one saved him. He was amazing
I must be the only one here who wasn't crazy about the Beale Street guy with dreads. I get the whole gravelly voice thing, but just didn't find him all that great. I doubt if the duo will get much farther, but they can sing and they're fun. They remind me of Trout Fishing in America.
I like the Innes guy. He could be the Nicholas David of this season. Which I guess would suck for him since ND didn't win.

Well you're not, I really liked him as well. But, I can't get all worked up about contestants who are going to be eliminated sooner than sooner. Frankly, the Season was over as fast as Judith Hill and Sarah Simmons could sing the first bar of their blind audition. I just pop in to see who is in the running for third.
Having said that, the Voice has taken another step towards making the show ethnically diverse. This isn't the first time there have been hispanic vocalist singing in Spanish but with the addition of Shakira in the coaches chair the show has put latin music front and center. And that battle round between Gloria and Katia... freaking amazing.
