I've always been a Melanie fan, but I loved her tonight. She seems to be gaining confidence, and did really great tonight. The show is half over and the only one I don't like so far is Sylvia.
I kind of dig the style of Nicholas David ... although my wife was back in MN last week and she was talking with her sister, who was in the same graduating class as Nicholas Mrozinski and didn't have too much good to say about him (then again it is the pleasures of HS) .... apparently he also sang at the church my in-laws attend - kinda funky
I really like him, so I'm kind of going to disregard what your sister-in-law had to say. There are several contestants I'd be okay seeing win the whole thing, but Nicholas is definitely my favorite.
Who are all these 12-year-olds keeping Dez in the hunt?? To me he's a cypher.
I actually felt that way about Dez until tonight. I think he really stepped it up tonight and probably has some business being there after all. (He's far from my favorite, though.)
Trevin and Nicholas are my two faves in this, and I really hope one of them wins.
I would be OK with anyone winning except for Dez and Sylvia, I find both of them boring.
I should say, though, that tonight, I think every song was great. Really a great combination of songs and all of them were sung really well. I liked the variety.

Love love love Nicholas David tonight. He's actually a nice looking guy when he's groomed. lol
I thought Bryan did that song as well as Billy Joel, and I love Billy Joel.
Amanda was back to being good tonight. I thought she was awful last week.
Wow, tonight has been a great show overall. The only one I want to see go home is Sylvia, and I'm worried about who else will be gone tomorrow.
Agree on everything! Sylvia needs to go... maybe she has a "powerful" voice but she ain't in control of it...where oh where is Randy Jackson when you need him?? Lots of "pitchy" off-key notes for her on that song. I hope she gets the boot tonight. Her 15 minutes is oh-ver....
Nicholas really is good, isn't he? I could "see" him on the radio...he may really get a fine career out of this, win or not. I could do without the beard ...that photo of him as a younger, clean-cut man was sharp! It was touching how he made CeeLo emotional.
I actually didn't mind Cassadee's song tonight but I still am not overly impressed with her.
I will admit I also liked Melanie tonight. Maybe I am coming down with something....
