It's also based on stories that have entertained humans of all ages for centuries. Just because we tend to think of fairy tales as being for children, doesn't mean they started out that way. And a good story is a good story!

So with this show we have all these stories that we already know, being retold, and also being woven into a brand new narrative - it's very cool!

I think the mayor/queen knows everything since it was the queen who put the spell on the fairy tale characters so it would be logical that her memory was not erased with the spell as theirs were.

Now my question. I may have missed this but have they shown what fairy tale character the sheriff was?

A question that has never occured to me 'til just now....if PC, aka James, is the Prince, wouldn't that make the Queen his mother??

Lots of queens and lots of princes in those stories! Neighboring kingdoms, and all...

And from the previews we're evidently going to get to meet Cinderella this next week - and she too falls in love with a prince...

All 3 episodes are currently on Hulu.com

I just rewatched the first episode with my husband so he could see it. I noticed that the prince did not have the scar that he got when he met snow white.
They definitely have a different story than the classic fairy tale. There is another reason the queen hates Snow, but who knows why that is, yet.

ABC has now issued full-season commitments (22 episodes) to three other shows in addition to this one; they are 'Last Man Standing', 'Suburgatory' & 'Revenge'.
