Either there is a lot from the books that I don't remember or remember incorrectly, but it seemed to me that there were significant differences in S3E5......... It was a good episode though.

About 2/3 of it was right out of the book! Very powerful episode. Aren't some of you beginning to change your mind about Jaime Lannister?

Tmozer, you asked earlier how many episodes there will be this season, didn't you? 10, as far as I know.

I don't know, I still see him as the guy who pushed an innocent child out of a tower window.

People change though. He will definately not be the same person he was. I see him becoming a more humble person who doesn't like fighting, now that he has experienced the nastier side of torture and war. It was nice to hear the explanation of why he killed the king...

Just thought up another question... I can understand how Tywin can "force" Sansa to marry the dwarf (his name escapes me right now) - as she's basically a ward of the Lannisters, which would leave Tywin acting as her father. But, how is he going to force the gay prince to marry Cercei??

I believe Jamie would have been a different person if not for the influence of his evil sister.

The proposed marrage between Cercei and The Prince of Flowers will not be "forced". It will be arranged. Same difference......

The Prince of Flowers is a knight. That means that he is "of age" and would have to consent to a marriage. Girls and women could be forced into arranged marriages back then, but I don't believe the same is true for adult princes. I don't see him consenting to marrying an "old" woman.

I just wish the shows lasted a bit longer! I am never ready for them to end each week and wish they had gone just a bit farther. Although it takes forever for us to watch the show as my hubby is always asking questions

The scene with Davos and the little princess in the dungeon was an add on, right? I don't remember reading any of that, but I guess they do have to explain that relationship a bit somehow.

Yes, I am a true Jamie fan. I do think the Queen is the wicked one and love how Jamie evolves thru the books. Love what happens to Cercei too!
