The last time I had Lone Star was at the FBI Academy in Quantico VA. Loved it, miss it!

Like Episode 1 more the second time (with the close captioning on) than the first. Really looking forward to the rest of the episodes and seasons.

It's better the second time around. Hart is definitely not married because in prior scenes he sports a wedding ring. During he's sans wedding ring.

I watched the 12 min making of clip on HBO and that was pretty good.
The opening looks very True Blood. Not sure I like the T Bone? Burnett opening music though.
Impatient for tonights show.

I watched the first episode again. I like it.

My prediction: Cohle is the killer and the girl he buys pills from is the second victim.

That's why the new detectives are overly focused on how Cohle works, etc. He's their suspect.

I plan to watch Episode 2 tonight.

I was thinking the same thing, but I hope not. That would be too obvious. I predict that they believe Cohle is the killer, but he is not. That he and/or his former partner help them find the real killer.

I don't have much faith in writers these days. The good thing about only eight episodes is we'll find out soon.
