I watched last night. I think they tried harder this season to match these couples since last season was such a disaster. These couples seem more mature and grounded. But we'll see.

I'm glad Neil trimmed that huge beard. He and Sam seem to have a lot in common but their quirkiness might not work.

I like Tres and Vanessa the best. Her dress was my favorite. And if he's a boob man he hit the jackpot!

I didn't get a good read on David and Ashley. I don't blame Ashley not wanting the strippers at her party. It was a low key party and the strippers did not fit in.

I dont think I have seen any of the other seasons but did catch last night. I thought Neil was really strange.... I thought the others seemed like they had potential to mesh.
It was interesting that at the wedding how Tres kind of stopped and walked away, but then the coming attractions seemed to be of he and his bride celebrating the wedding... so I guess it's a cliffhanger to make us think he didnt go through with it?
The whole idea is really so bizarre. How does it work? are they really married or is it after their trial period that they are officially married?

It's a real, legal marriage. They really do have to get a divorce if they don't want to stay married. I'm assuming that the show probably pays for that, though.

This season's group all seem very likeable. But at this first viewing of them I think the experts matched the wrong pairs. Instead of David & Ashley and Neil & Samantha, I think David & Samantha and Neil & Ashley would have made better pairs. I guess time will tell!

Anyway, here's hoping this season will be more successful than last season! I hope the producers figured out a way to make them really live together during the six weeks instead of letting the couples do as they pleased. And let's see if Atlanta has the same issues about commuting distances that has caused so much problems in the New York seasons.
