Like others have stated, I too continue to watch only because I've been with it from the very beginning. But it isn't as if I find it great television anymore and haven't for the last few seasons. Since I DVR it, more often than not I find myself hitting the fast forward button and skipping through at least 80% of the show. There is just too much storyline/air time given to developing or providing back stories for characters who are incidental and unimportant. It's too bad really.

Could not agree more. It went downhill after the Lucille cliffhanger. I fast forward to the scenes with Darryl and Carole.
WTH! That whole rocky horror show thingy, WTF! The show writers think it's time for fun house laughs this stage in the show, WOW, just WOW. I laughed alright, at the absurdity of it all. I agree, all these new characters when there aren't even that many more episodes till the show ends makes me scared about how they are going to wrap it all up. Just please don't make it end with it having been a dream in Rick's head or I will hunt them down, I will find them and I will hurt them.
