If Romeo is working with the feds, why did they press Juice about the meet? The only thing they ever needed from Juice was the date, time, and place of the meet with the Irish. If Romeo was a snitch, they would have that information.
There is nothing indicating that Romeo is a snitch. Romeo works with the cartel and has not motivation to be a snitch for a US Federal Agency. He has a ton of motivation to lie to Jax about Otto though. He really needs those weapons and probably lied so Jax would show up or the AUSA has not filed any paperwork showing Otto is a snitch yet.
You could have two different Federal agencies working this from two different angles and neither one know what the other is doing. This happens all the time in real life.
As for Romeo needing the weapons, he can buy them straight from the American Government. The ATF just got busted for selling the Mexican Cartels firearms. We're do you think the Mexican cartels get M16 and Hummers with 50cals? Why do you think the President and Attorney General refuse to hand over the serial numbers of captured M16s? The United States supplies those to Mexico to fight the so called war on drugs. Then the Cartel turns around and pays the Mexican Police and Military to be armed escorts. That is just the US involvement. Then you got Russia hand delivering 200,000 AK74's to Huge Chavez down south...for his 100,000 strong army...to replace his age 100,000 military rifles giving hims a total of 200,000 extra machine guns. Do you really think the Mexican drug Cartel is going to buy a 500.00 semi-auto AK clone in the US when they can buy an original Russian made AK74 for a few hundred bux?
The Feds in my opinion are trying to bust up the Irish and Son's illegal arms trade and manufacturing. The drug cartel is just a cover.
I had another jumping the shark moment last episode:
When Tig and the club are running from the niners, and they run into the car accident, wait a minute- traffic is already backed up from a bad wreck, and their are no police, hell even ambulance or fire truck around....not believable
By that point of a car accident, you have at least a patrol officer keeping traffic moving, but I guess not in Charming, huh?
I think Jax has the stones to kill Clay; he's killed LOTS of people. However, I thought that Jax felt he was being manipulated by Gemma when she told him everything and gave him the letters by his still demeanor and how he asked her "WHY" she was telling him. I had a feeling he was going to resist. Then Tara comes in and tips it right over the edge by also urging him to kill Clay and giving him a (supposedly) foolproof way to do it.
Now, will Jax kill Clay in the next episode? I don't think so. I think there will either be a really good rational reason NOT to kill Clay ... or they will make it the "cliffhanger" ending ... Jax at Clay's bedside, saying, "You killed my father ..." and then the drawing of the grinning SOA "mascot" comes up ...

Gemma vs. Tara? Yeah, it could happen. Gemma is just so FIXATED on keeping everyone in Charming that perhaps she would sacrifice Tara if she thought it would keep Jax and the grandsons in Charming. yup.

It can take awhile for emergency crews to get on scene. I was in a bad accident once and it took over 20 minutes for them to get there due to traffic.

I think that's a stretch, traffic was already gridlocked, usually when that happens at the very least you would have a patrol officer on scene, or at the very least fire-
Now were talking guns going off, and a high speed chase en route to a bad accident, wouldn't emergency personnel be either going their way towards the accident, or coming from the direction they were going? It was in fact a small two lane highway-

I guess we have to suspend our disbelief on that part. Kind of like how members of SAMCRO have killed SO MANY PEOPLE and nothing happens to them ... I can't even count all the murders, can you? ... but absolutely nothing ... ever ... happens ... after most of their killings ... even launching off large military weapons ... nobody notices, nothing happens. Shoot Georgie in his trunk? Nothing happens, even though a half-azzed detective could figure that one out pretty fast even WITHOUT assistance from LE like Potter that did know Georgie was on SAMCRO's hit list. But there is never an investigation into so many of their murders. In real life, they all would be in jail with death penalties or life sentences.
