Agree that BB is the best drama ever. It's unequalled. A work of genius.
That said, it could also be VERY funny at times. The scene where Walt and Jesse are trying to steal the chemicals while wearing pom-pom topped ski masks is a little bit Chuck Jonesish.
And Jesse's, "Yeah, SCIENCE!" cracks me up every time.
The scene I thought was the most funny was when Jessie and Walt had the magnet in the U-Haul truck and it tipped over on it's side. That was gold!
Sorry, another thread bump from someone who just watched the entire series. 3 months ago someone told me Breaking Bad was on netflix, & I had time this summer, so I checked it out with very low expectations, because I rarely get pulled into a TV series. First episode blew me away & now I finished it up on the last day of summer.
Wow, those last 2 seasons! I can't recall a show that made me hate & love every character depending on the episode.
Also, poor poor Jesse & Skyler. I was pulling hard for them 2 the last season. All Jesse wanted was a father figure & someone to believe in him. Killing was always the last thing he wanted to do. I can't imagine the PTSD going on with him. Then poor Skyler trying to care for a newborn when all she asked for was a normal life. Weird re watching the pilot & seeing the Whites life at the start. Boring, but safe.
I'm currently watching the pilot of Dexter & I'm bored to death. I'm going to give Alias & Weeds a try. Of course, it's going to be very hard to get into another show after watching BB.
Edit: I forgot to add, that after watching each episode during season 5 I would pull this thread up & read the comments related to each show as if I was watching it with you all when it aired. Though, that made me really want to reply to some of the posts, but that would have been weird.

Skyler was not innocent by any means, and for 3/4 of the series was B!#TH.
I agree about Jessie Though.
I went to Los Pollos Hermanos today. Sat and ate in Walt's booth. It was a personal hoot, but it is just any other Twisters, which happens to be way off the beaten path in the South Valley.

I didn't see the B part & I think she did OK (innocent wise compared to all the others on the show) given the circumstances. Walt trapped her. If she went to the police, then was there enough evidence to put him down, & if not then she'd have to go back to living with a man she ratted on. I didn't like her during the season when she filed for divorce, blocked Walt from seeing the kids, & slept with Ted, but again consider the circumstances Walt put her in, & now look at her life in the last episode (chain smoking in a dark home, her own sister hates her).
Walt ruined a lot of lives, but Skyler & Jesse were impacted the worst by Walts actions.

There was no reason for Skyler to cheat on Walt with Ted. There was no reason for Skyler to give ted money. Skyler made a choice, Walt never but a gun to her head and made her do the things she did.
Just my Opinion
