Tara's a heterosexual human, married to JB and gets pregnant with twins (I think that's accurate - it's been a while for me with the books).
I like her book character a lot more that her TV character.
I see, more subdued -- makes me think Sookie needs a "normal" element in her life instead hopping around magical beings.

I've seen it. Though if it came down to Joe or Matt Bomer, I'd have to go with Bomer ... just because him being gay makes it "all the more real" for me, hahaha.

Not that the books are great literature, but at least they have Sookie firmly planted in the real world. She deals with all this supernatural stuff, but as a counterpoint she also worries about paying her bills and she goes to the library and Sonic and to baby showers, which emphasizes how weird the other half of her life is.
too many story lines...
and the vampire authority stuff is boring..
all i care about is tara, pam, lafayette and sookie (not really but whatever)
The writers really need to trim some of the story lines starting with Terry's. The main stories should be Tara's and the Vampire Authority's, i.e. Bill's and Eric's. Jessica's story arc took an interesting turn last night when she was chasing after that guy, who I presume is a fairy.
I have started fast-forwarding through the dull moments (not a good sign).... Especially Terry's story! *barf*
