Sabanera - Dorado
================================================== =====
I need to say something about this community. It is not like the others…
Other private housing developments are plagued with a problem. A dead community.
Sabanera however seems to have a very active community.

Sabanera - Dorado (http://www.sabaneradorado.net/all_vida.php - broken link)
It is an upscale neighborhood with a community. Paseos de Dorado has very little community in it...
It provides a secure environment, but not too restrictive. Dorado Beach East has the most restrictive security in the world. There is a curfew for kids, some facilities are closed at night and apparently you (as a resident) do not have the right to photograph or record video of Dorado Beach itself. All the times I've taken photos inside Dorado Beach East (I am not a resident, but I was taking pics with a resident), I have to get stopped, a guard takes my name (I am currently blacklisted, or something…) and then I have to wait for someone to let me go. The reason my name is blacklisted is because (supposedly) one of the richer residents called the guards on me. Money talks and totalitarianism walks in Dorado Beach.
I must say I know many good, philanthropic people who live in Dorado Beach. There will always be douchebags in this world. One of my best friends is from there. If you live within the Dorado Beach complex, you live amongst the social elite. I am simply reporting how disappointed I am with such a wonderful place to live.
Also, the guy who built Dorado Beach East, Federico Stubbe, also built Sabanera Dorado. So it's surprising how much the two contrast themselves.
The houses are small, but I think the price to live in such a wonderful community is worth it. I still don't like private communities LOL.
I've heard the $400,000 figure, but won't confirm anything. Contact Sabanera through their website.
[b]I also wanted to note: Living in a private, gated community does not ensure the security of your home. In some cases, crime inside a private community is higher. I've lived in a public community all my life and never have I ever been robbed. Be humble (but not too humble haha, not trying to govern how you live) and treat everyone with respect. The law of life.
