"We continue our discussion on the extension of unemployment benefits with Sen. Jeanne Shaheen (D-NH).12 minutes ago from web"

Edit #1==>It's over now, they will talk about
healthcare next. The Senator sounded pretty confident though. I'd love a transcript of what she just said!

Edit #2 ==> Video of the Washington Journal Program that just aired

Whatever happened to the 30 hr. debate limit, followed by the vote? Endless healthcare jibberjabber-it never stops!! I mean, why can't they cut to the chase-I guess this is how they try to prove that they're on top of these things to their constituates, but come on-we all know the pros & cons long ago (particularly on HC)-just vote!! Is this their idea of renewable energy-HOT AIR????

This is a quote a Bloomberg news article. Hopefully its true.
Senate Minority Leader Mitch McConnell, a Kentucky Republican, agreed that most lawmakers support the unemployment and homebuyer measures. “We’re not that far away from an agreement,” he said yesterday.

So, are we are we not, getting the extension? I am so confused by this whole this. We got the cloture vote but that doesn't necessarily mean we are getting the extension, right?

Who knows!! I think its all really confusing. I was just looking thru all the previous posts and if i had a dime for every time some typed "vote tomorrow" or "will be passed next week" I'd probably be able to buy some groceries. This has been going on for over a month. So basically, you're guess is as good as everyone elses.
