Forgive me if you have posted this already as I am new to the game here, but I was really curious about what kind of hauntings you experienced while living in the house? Is there another thread on it perhaps? Thank you!
I'd never in a million years buy a house like that in the first place. The whole ghosts/paranoramal thing gives me big time creeps & that style house looks like the typical haunted house in any horror movie. If you say it's haunted, I definitely believe you!

When we first moved into the house, we were watching Amityville Horror at 3:00 AM and a light in the laundry room would go on and off. We could see the light from the family room while watching TV We would then go into the laundry room and my wife (Sheena12) stood in the door way and saw the switch turn on by itself. We have a huge pitbull and she was always afraid to go into that laundry room. You couldn't drag her into it. That same evening a female voice called out our 7 year old daughter's name.
It was faint, but we all heard it. Later on, there were chimes coming from above a chandelier in the breakfast area. We have no chimes in the house. The lights continued to go on and off through the entire time we were in the house. We had an electrician check the electric, but it was fine.
We had a friend visit from Ukraine and had her staying in a guest room. She came out screaming one night, when she felt a hand on her shoulder and muffled voices. She said that that was the "devil room" and never went back in there. Our son had a friend come over for lunch and as she was going to sit down, it looked like there was a leg sticking out and she was tripped and fell to the ground. We all saw this happen.
The girl was not clumsy and there was nothing in front of her. The girl was black and were told that later on that whatever spirit was in the house was not friendly and might have been racist. These were just some of the incidents that I could remember off the top of my head.
We did have paranormal investigators to the house and they only stayed three or four hours, and left in a hurry. We were told that there were at least three entities in the house and just being in the house exhausted them. They said we should try and move. They never would return, even after we asked them to. They said it took too much out of them. We also had three cats and two dogs die in the house.
The dogs were old, but the cats were young and healthy. I found the cats in various cardboard boxes, and one dog was in that evil laundry room with a frightened look on her face. The other dog was old and blind and was sunning on the back deck. The gate was closed so he could not get out. An hour after we put him out on the deck, my wife looked for him and he was gone. The gate was still closed and he couldn't jump the gate. We looked all over the yard and neighborhood and put signs up, but no luck.
On Thanksgiving morning we heard a blood curdling scream from our eight year old daughter. She found our dog floating in the pool. I had checked the pool several times and figured he wasn't in it. There was no way that the dog got out of the gate and fell into the pool without us hearing it. Just another strange incident. I was living in the house with my dogs and cats while my family was searching for a new house in Pa. Every day I would go to work and I was frightened to come home because I might find another one of my animals dead. We are so lucky to be out of that house. But I feel badly for our three cats and two dogs that died horrible deaths.
I guess that what I saw in the windows might have been reflections, since everyone including Sheena agree. I guess I was traumatized with all the deaths in the house and weird occurances going on from when we first moved in. Since everyone on this thread thinks they are reflections, I guess that is what they were. I'm happy to be out of that house. Thanks, Warren
OMG! I feel sorrry for your innocent bystandard friends of you & your son's & also your animals who got hurt or died. Before I visit a friend, especially if I were spending the night, I'd want to know things like that, so I know what I'm getting myself into before stepping foot in your house. I'd gladly stay at a hotel instead!
