In spite of all the anti this-country or anti that-country there are many things which go on behind the scenes which show how normal people and scientists just get on with business and life and leave the political people to make all the news. USA-Russia has been collaborating in space for ages otherwise there was no way the ISS can be serviced. OK, now there might be US companies which can help with
this, but before them it was the Russians.
26 million is terrible. I think things are still going to get a lot worse I am afraid. It will take quite a few months before the effects of this virus (like a bad case of the 'trots') pass through the economy and out the other end.
I believe the US economy has already collapsed, (or is in the process of), I dont think our federal and state leaders are giving us ALL the details on this either.
What I see them doing is, scrambling...trying anything and everything they can to keep people hopeful, (in other words, keeping them under control for as long as possible), they are basically printing money and throwing it out of airplanes over the cities. (not literally).
Just the other day, the DOW was 450 points higher??!! Seriously...given that oil is crashing, along with everything else going on...and they expect us to believe the stock market GOES UP? HA HA HA...if that is not a desperate attempt to give people false hope...Im not sure what is!!
I dont think people realize, that during these kinds of crisis...the govt is NOT going to tell the public everything, first and foremost, they have to maintain control and order...so if that means lying, misdirecting, misrepresenting or altering information...so be it, they have no choice but to do these things, the alternative is mass panic, runs on the banks, anarchy in the streets, (govt cannot allow society to sink this low,or they would never re gain control).

There is no evidence that lots of things exist, so what you have said is little use to anyone. I have offered actual usage 'proof' that medical doctors in Switzerland and in the UK are using homeopathy and since they consider this is an effective form of treatment - are you qualified to give an opinion which is anything other than just that - your uneducated (in this field) opinion. If you have qualifications in a relevant area of science, then you are qualified to give an expert opinion, otherwise you are just blowing hot air.

The team at Sinovac injected eight macaque monkeys with two different doses. Three weeks after injection, they introduced the coronavirus straight into the money’s lungs. There were reportedly no side effects.
None of the monkeys developed an infection beyond a small “viral blip.” A less fortunate control group of monkeys developed severe pneumonia after being infected by the virus.
“This is old school but it might work,” Florian Krammer, a virologist at the Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai, who co-authored a status report on COVID vaccine candidates, told Science Mag. “What I like most is that many vaccine producers, also in lower–middle-income countries, could make such a vaccine.”

Pneumonia is an infection of the lungs in which the air sacs fill with fluid or pus. Normally, patients develop chest discomfort, pain with breathing and other breathing problems. But when COVID pneumonia first strikes, patients don’t feel short of breath, even as their oxygen levels fall. And by the time they do, they have alarmingly low oxygen levels and moderate-to-severe pneumonia (as seen on chest X-rays). Normal oxygen saturation for most people at sea level is 94% to 100%; COVID pneumonia patients I saw had oxygen saturations as low as 50%.
To my amazement, most patients I saw said they had been sick for a week or so with fever, cough, upset stomach and fatigue, but they only became short of breath the day they came to the hospital. Their pneumonia had clearly been going on for days, but by the time they felt they had to go to the hospital, they were often already in critical condition.
