If aliens really do exist and come to Earth, what do you think should happen to them? (Mars, light)

Oh there's no doubt that in this vast unimaginably large universe that there are other life forms out there. The nearest probable planet from us that could have life is 1,800 light years away. I can see some sort of probe making it here, but if it took 1,800 years to get here, would anyone remember it that far into the future?
Hubble discovered 7 primitive galaxies over 13 billion light years away. Is there life out there? Yes, but the distance is just not doable.
Perhaps some day our technology out there will intersect with an alien technology and find some way to communicate, but aliens on our soil? Highly unlikely.
The supposed scale of the universe is largely based on stellar parallax and gravity theory, which is seriously flawed, not at all universally accepted by high-level astrophysicists, and now requires an invisible, undetectable 96-97% filler material called 'dark matter'/'dark energy' in order for theory to be reconciled with observations. The geocentric Tychonic system of the 16th century continues to work perfectly fine as long as we discard gravity, which has never been witnessed on Earth. At that point the star field moves rather than Earth and Copernican parallax measurement gets tossed in the trash, making the stars not much farther away than the planets.
There's a lot of talk about weather aliens really exist, or if aliens can see us, and why or why not they don't announce themselves to everyone. But I have to wonder that if aliens were to actually exist and make it to this planet and announce themselves, what on Earth would we do with them? So just imagine this scenario for a moment? Would people embrace them? Would we make them our pets? Eat them? Tell them to take a hike and go back home? Or do some people want to mate with them and eventually marry them like they do with their sheep? (Haven't actually seen any recent news articles about anyone marrying their sheep, so don't ask me, please. )
Do they want to be best friends forever with them? Go drinking and shooting pool together?
Do they want them to have healing powers so they can heal us and our loved ones?
If aliens do exist and come to this Earth, what do people expect, or hope will happen once they are here?
It would depend who they encounter first - friends or foes lol
Also depends on their size and behavior - violent giants or lame lilliputians. Would they look humans alike or something like we couldn't even imagine, touch or catch.
And how we would communicate? In English like on Sci-Fi movies? If not, how we would know their intentions or try to communicate our intentions?
Who said that they would eat, sleep, drink or have sex like humans? Have hands to touch and lips to kiss. Or have any emotions. Or want do to anything with us, except study.

What I believe aliens to be is that they are not inter-galactic beings, but creatures that travel through the fabric of the universe. They appear and disappear suddenly, as if through worm-holes. They do not "travel" through the galaxies by the same route that humans would.
Well....we made Elon Musk the richest man in the world, right? Dude is definitely an alien.
The worst thing about the aliens moving to the Bay Area is it just pushed housing prices up higher. Luckily, most of them come from hard rim worlds with water inside....so the ocean is where they are most of the time. The problem is, now we have all these dang EPA rules to not pollute the water and to quit overfishing....uh huh...the world ran out of fish...that have been eaten by animals since they were first made...go on, tell another one. People stopped whaling after nearly killing off the Narwhockigs, but Norway and Japan are still letting it be known who's on top of the food chain.
Most of the time though, we don't even notice. A lot of the inventions brought are quite useful as well. I rather like trance music. Still, we're such a warlike group they're never going to sell us warp hyperdrives....but at least some of the illegals make it through as a nice little hideout. We're like a North Korea of the galaxy. Just hope nobody too important ever comes to hide here and gets found out.
well since I don't believe that intelligent life exist elsewhere much less aliens...Or maybe it does and they are smart enough to not deal with our looney tunes world.
None the less If they would happen to arrive here and I was the ambassador to welcome them. I'd show them the seven wonders of the world, and then show them all the destruction that our humanity has caused. After which I'd have all the flat earthers and conspiracy riddled folks take a one way ride with the aliens back to their 'alternate" abode. It would make them feel like they have finally found their people.

It would take millions of years to get there. We can't even get a person on Mars let alone any ship out past one light year.

Can you imagine what aliens would have thought if they were in America in the 1800s and
witnessed slavery . What would they have thought if they saw people being rounded up and
murdered during the Holocaust ?
No wonder they have not made themselves known . Who would want to come to a planet
like this ?

People may not recall what you said to them, but they will always remember how you made them feel .
If a civilization is advanced enough for interstellar and/or inter-dimensional travel, then what happens next is entirely up to them.
If their intentions are hostile, there won't be much we can do.
If their intentions are friendly, then I suspect we'll be rewriting a lot of our science and philosophy books. Beyond that, what happens next will be up to them.
But communication with them will not be nearly as easy as people assume. Even assuming they communicate with sounds --- and there is little reason to assume that is so --- then their psychology may be so completely different from our own that communication may be near impossible.
