You would if you were around them. And as far as I know Scotland is still in the UK. The topic could hardly be things you hate that occur only in the entire UK could it? That would mean no talking about unfriendly Londoners either.

Not where I was, you couldn't. Friends from back there still ask me to send them those two items, so they can't be that easy to find.

I don't remember seeing any 3 Musketeers, but then I wasn't looking for any. Reese's cups are easy to find but I don't like them.

The most unfriendly people in London are the people who were born elsewhere in the UK - so I've been told.

You mis-interpretate my post, it was a response to Gungir, I know what a pain midges are in Scotland, they are in the south of the UK too, I know they are a particular nusance in Scotland but I usually get bitten a few times over the Summer months down here too! :-)

Tesco has a lot of American food now, like Skippy, marshmallow cream, candy. None of which I have any desire to buy.

hitler got nazi germany thinking "the jews" were the "enemy" with his ridiculous propaganda. we all know how that ended... american propaganda has got the world scared of "arabs" and how they will "force sharia law on the world". it just proves, we never learn from history.
