If only The biggest newspapers of the UK are all trashy tabloids (The Sun, Daily Mail, The Mirror, etc.). Apparently British people love to be lied to.

Roundabouts are your friend.

If you don't like Glastonbury, don't go to it.

British tabloids and the celeb press are cringeworthy...

The weather, obviously...

It's a small, crowded island
I hear this a lot but I fail to see why the weather is (obviously) something to hate about the UK?? After all the UK has temperate weather - ie its usually not burning hot, not fridgidly freezing, no killer tornadoes or hurricanes, no droughts, light rainfall spread evenly accross the year, I mean come on what is there about it thats so terrible??? SinceIt makes me laugh when you hear Russians or Canadians calling the weather in the UK bad when they have 6ft of snow for 5 months of the year! :-)

That's very true. I've lived in places in the US where it's been bitter cold with tons of snow for months and months. And I've lived where it's been 90+ all summer long. I try to overlook the dampness here as I love everything else about it.
