Banning the niqab would be the very definition of backwardness. I don't want to pick on you dizzy but for me, your attitude sums up the problem:

This is "their" country just as much as it is your country. You or I have no greater rights to dictate what "they" can or cannot wear, than "they" have to dictate what you or I wear.

The day we cross the line of dictating how people dress, is the day we become no better than a religious theocracy.
