Hilarious and and just wow ! Fifteen years ago when Fabio Grosso scored that penalty to make Italy champions I almost had a stroke, literally since my left eye hurt for days but I still denied visiting a hospital and just watchd the game covering my red eye to see Italy become champions. These days...I could only be more happy if my own country was beating France but since this can't happen since we're total disaster for 20+ years all I can say is: campioni d'europa?

Do you think so?
I only watched from halfway through the second half, the extra time and the penalties, I’m not a football aficionado, but it looked to me like the Italians were all over England like a cheap suit.

Congratulations to the Italian team the best team won, however the cowardly hatred that has been spewed out to the English has been vile, perhaps now we can see why Brexit happened, my contempt for Europe and Europeans has nothing but grown.

England dominated in the first half, Italy dominated in the second half, nobody dominated in extra time, and sadly the game had to be settled on penalties.

I don't call winning on penalties some glorious victory, and England can still hold their head up high.

England held their own and weren't thrashed, although they did play far too deep in the second half and letting inexperienced youngsters such as 19 year old Saka take penalties was a massive mistake.

England did well to reach the final, and the country is still proud of them and the way they conducted themselves.

Congratulations to our Italian friends who are also considering leaving the EU.

italian captain ( who i usually love ) should have been sent off though of course not certain England would have got another

England left it behind , Jordan Pickford was a hero , done everything for his mates and they let him down badly in the shoot out

pity

Hey well at least Southgate is consistent. Lost it for England in penalties in 1996, and again in 2021.

Too soon...?

^ More like overrated as a manager. He puts 19 years old to score an important penalty minutes after substitution...exactly why?? Robot can do it, human can't.
