Anyway why bother genetically modifying vegetables for Americans - most of 'em don't eat any vegetables and those that do would be quite happy if they were just deep-fried rather than modified.

Watching News Night tonight and Emily Maitlis suggesting to Damian Green that Theresa May might present her deal to parliament on Brexit eve - i.e. 28th March.
Why is there no mention of Bercow's ruling. She can't can she?

Well, she can if she makes changes so it's not voting on exactly the same thing again.

That's what I'm not clear on because John Bercow stated specifically that another vote would only be allowed if it was a substantially different deal.

I can't for the life of me see how she can achieve that, other than by the EU doing some drastic climb down.

Judging by the members of parliament this is a desperately needed enhancement, Dave.

Hey, that's rude, there are people who've publicly stated on this very thread, that Politicians should decide, because they know what they're doing.

<cough!>

Frankly I don't care at all about the UK but for me the worst part is how the UK or the EU (or whoever is to blame...) set a horrible example of any country who wants to leave. In other words if the UK had left quickly and then get richer the leave-camp all over Europe will use them as an example.
Now if someone wants to leave what can you tell them about that? "Sure you can leave but it will take 5 years and your currency will fall 15%".
