If the poorest people in Chad were saying it couldn't get any worse they might have a point, but in a developed country like the UK with the various social protections and free services that exist there is still potentially a long way down if those things can no longer be afforded.
Indeed. We should never think freedoms are absolute. Likely scenarios being, Tough laws on benefits, employment rights, rights to contest and so on further disfranchising whole segments of the population. Authoritarian at least quasi to control with a firm hand the growing dissent. If that's the direction people think will promote the ideal Britain, then so be it. There's a big world out there to which some anyway will be able to move to.

Wider trade situations the money dished out to the EU farce will all be progress and may I also remind you the troubadour that the EU itself is having problems dragging on in recent years as well as now. A decline is being mentioned to Europe economically and the same EU will be affected by our getting out. Whether you dashed lie it or not we voted out and the long attitude that all those who voted for Brexit are automatically somehow less intelligent than the losers (often leaning to that nonsense) has been a dig.

How about the Europhilic Scotland and Northern Ireland join The Republic of Ireland to form one single country?

It will be a happy ending for everyone:

United Kingdom of England and Wales
United Republic of Ireland and Scotland

More like the American civil war.

It’s better being part of a United States than a single state, especially today with regional superpowers trying to out do each other.

Together we are stronger.

There’s nothing to fear about the USE.....

Besides your thoughts on immigration, to which my thoughts are while one tap may tighten another will become more open, just how your average Briton will be any better off is beyond me.
We have to be in control of immigration. As it is now, anyone at all from the EU can up sticks, and come here. Right now, we literally have gangs of criminals coming back and forth as they please from places like Poland, Bulgaria and Romania. Only last night, I saw on the news about a large gang of criminals jailed.

We will always need skilled immigrants, I know that. But right now, anyone can come here. It has to stop, and the only way to stop it is to leave the EU.

We need to build millions of homes, but those need to go to our people, not foreigners. The EU don't care about our problems caused by mass immigration. All they care about is the money we provide. My country has had enough, and that's about it. As things stand now, it's a mess, continued EU membership will just make things worse, until we have civil conflict.

The problem with all these arguments is that immigration control is really dependant on the UK government taking control, there are many ways to stop EU Nationals staying in the EU who are deemed less than desirable,

The UK government chooses not to use the powers that are already available to them, the UK is better placed than any EU country to control this given its an island.

We've all seen the news where Afghan assylum seekers jump off a lorry and get caught by the police only to be released and asked to return to a police station at sometime in the future and are never seen again.

UK immigration is a joke.

Building houses is one thing, paying people enough money so they can buy them is another altogether.

Unfortunately it's so easy to blame the EU for whatever's wrong with the UK..

None of these arguments will get solved by leaving the EU it'll only make matters worse.
