If accurate........this translates to 1.2M jobs total. A per capita ratio of 1:130 in the UK, and 1:650 in the EU.

I posted a link to that report last week.

https://www.graphicnews.com/en/pages...no-deal_Brexit

It clearly shows the UK would be the worst off with 5% of the UK's total workforce losing their jobs, that's 526,830 people

It's OK though because those pesky Eastern Europeans in Latvia will also lose 440 jobs

Nose and face come's to mind.

Farage, Le Pen, Wilders & Cie may endlessly blame everything to eastern europe (including global warming...) but it's still the UK who ultimately made this possible and I'm not talking about Tony Blair but way before: the end of WW2 and Churchill: if it wasn't for the British soft post-ww2 policies neither Russia nor the 4th reich ("eu") will exist today.

And the UK PM just made an announcement they'll "find another way out" lol, it's turning into a hostage situation at this point.

You think the UK was in any way capable of invading and destroying the USSR in 1945 given the economic and military losses it had sustained over the previous 6 years? That was never going to happen.

I said "soft policies", one example: in a meeting between Churchill and Stalin the first one said he wants 25% western influence in eastern europe, Stalin said "no way" and Churchill agreed instantly + yes they were able to do so: they had one weapon you know...and giving the nukes to Russia in 1949 "on accident" with help from Germany is another story.

Despite a thousand years of history which says otherwise, if Britain somehow can’t stand on its own it can always crawl back to the Eurosoviet Union and beg to be let back in.

There's no blame to be attributed to anyone, the world continues to evolve, nobody to blame, just shifting dynamics and positions on the world stage.

Britain before the First world war still had it's Empire, years have gone by and now its status is very much reduced.

Today the UK would be better retaining a leading role in the EU which together is very much a global power house, leaving won't increase Britain's position in the world it'll just hasten its demise.

According to this 2017 YouGov poll, only 38% of Brexiters think that family members losing their jobs because of Brexit is not a price worth paying for.

A strong indication of fanaticism when you don't even care that your loved ones are hurt like that.

Given the mass exodus of Tory votes when May mentioned removing the triple lock it's a price that's definitely worth someone else paying for. If it wasn't for that election result the UK would already be out of the EU.
