The General Mood in the country is that this needs to be resolved and that Parliament have been disgusting.

The only way forward is a general election as Parliament can't pass anything, ad that includes the secind referendum that some remainers have been calling for and which would take over 5 months to organise.

As for the EU they have been playing stupid games, and will ultimately win stupid prizes from a country that they need to have good working relations with in terms of defece and security, and which is an ally.

The Irish border is not beyond resolution, and if the EU really wanted to they could propose solutions themselves, including those they already have with some other countries outside of the EU.

If this can not be resolved then the EU has just demonstrated that that it's inept, full of regulations that prevent trade and actually hinders trade rather than creates it. The EU is just proving that it's an organisation that is not fit for purpose and one we need to leave, and even some Remainers are starting to change their minds.

The EU has just made itself more and more unpopular with many people in the UK, as has Parliament and the disgusting politicians and liberal elite that sit in it.

I don't see stupid games by the EU. They have been consistent from the start.

There has been an abundance of stupid games by the UK, the recent ones being the most notable.
Remember, we are the ones who want to leave. It's not up to the EU to solve our impossible Irish border problem. It's up to our government that is pursuing a policy of leaving without a deal to solve the inevitable outcome in Ireland. We create the problem - we solve it. Good luck with that one.

New polling out Sunday gives the Tories a 15 point lead over Labour, the fourth major poll in a row giving them a double-digit lead.
This would give them a big majority in the next election.
Let's hope the establishment, the opposition, the BBC and most of the media continue with their attacks on Boris and Brexit.
Because outside the Westminster bubble the great British public see it for exactly what it is - a failed attempt to overturn the result of the largest democratic vote in British history.

I was chatting with an Englishman today on the sidewalk in White Plains. His joke was "G-d meant us not to join Europe, and that's why he put the English Channel there." All kidding aside it looks like a crash-out from the EU is about to happen since everything looks stuck in Parliament. Parliament and the country is paralyzed since Jeremy Corbin is the only option to the Conservatives. Great for the UK; for Europe not so much. Sugar Daddy's going away.

The EU has made a huge error dismissing the Boris offer out of hand.
An extention now means an election in November with Johnson being able to fight it on the basis that the EU and Labour are conspiring to thwart British democracy.
It also makes a No Deal Brexit much more likely.
So I say thanks Brussels, you've done us a great favour.

You hit it straight on the proverbial head Roscoe Conkling.

Stalin, oops meant Corbyn being the only alternative is not a practicality that must be reminded.

Surely Johnson will be dead in a ditch free the 31st like he promised?

He's got terrible ratings and rightly so, even Farage is calling for him to go.

Corbyn is simply unelectable will probably lead to a Tory majority and a rebranded Mays deal with an Irish see border.
Johnson is already 3/4 if the way there and he doesn't have a majority yet. Expecting to see the Torys in the low 30s with a bucket of MPs, Labour with a big loss in the low 20s matching the lib dems.

The wild card being the BXP and how hard they want to go after Johnson for going after Mays deal.

What the EU is saying to Boris is, right, you've given some ground, now give some more. They will give nothing in return. This is how they work.

The polls are real interesting. The people realise the situation Boris is in, with the establishment conspiring to stop him taking us out of the EU. We understand that his hands have been tied.

The silent majority are ready for a General Election. Corbyn will be thrown out on his ear shortly after, and the schoolgirl Liberal leader will also have a rude awakening. With a renewed mandate, Boris will get us out of the EU, come what may.

Yes the polls are interesting but I would hesitate to interpret them as an endorsement of Johnson. A condemnation of Labour may be nearer to the truth.

It's a bit rich to portray Johnson as a victim of 'conspiracy' by the way as it brings pots & kettles to mind.

Parliament has taken measures to prevent a crash out which is perfectly reasonable.

There is this continuing demonisation of the EU, much of it in similar tone to that which I would expect from a paper like the Daily Mail. You have indicated previously Dave that you care little about the Irish problem, with your entire focus on immigration control.
Fair enough, but we cannot just turn our backs on this thorny issue can we, and neither can the EU.
What do you expect to happen in Ireland in the event of a no deal?

Terrible ratings ?
He's polling better than Corbyn and Swinson combined.
Boris is the only reason why the Tories are 15 points ahead of Labour.
