How's the weather along this route? I'm driving it in 3 days

Any input from residents of cities along the route would be much appreciated!!

Snow pack amounts, road conditions, etc.

Very detailed list of road conditions! I had no idea they provided this until I googled UDOT road conditions. Try it for the other states,, like AZ DOT, etc.

There are 2 mountain passes that get pretty hairy in bad weather, otherwise it isn't bad in the winter.

Do the I-15 passes often close? I'd like to drive this route tomorrow despite the snow if it is open.

Tomorrow is going to be just awful in the middle of the state, according to the news, maybe feet of snow .

Yeah, in particular that stretch just South of Beaver as you go up in elevation gets REAL ugly indeed. Very slick and snow packed. Certainly would NOT want to be doing that drive with anything BUT a competent 4 or all wheel drive (not a pickup truck) with good tires and going slow.

We made it safely! The roads were GREAT. There was plenty of snow off the roads, but no hazardous driving conditions. I'm hoping and praying Saturday is going to be the same when we go back to AZ!

Decided to put off the drive until after Christmas anyway. Should be pretty and snowcovered all the way down to St George

We made it home safely on Saturday night. Once again there was plenty of snow on the ground, just none on the roads. I had no idea traffic would be so bad at the Hoover Dam! We were stuck in it for at least an hour, but the traffic coming the other direction was twice as bad.
