I'm planning on moving to Vancouver from Seattle this April to live there for few months.
I'm thinking about Broadway area near UBC or Burnaby near Metrotown Mall or near SFU.
I'm looking for a 2 bedrooms for me and my friend. We want easy transportation access to Granville bars/clubs, and also want to live in a neighborhood w/ lots of young people. (we are 22 & 25).
Any suggestions on which neighborhoods, and great places to search for housing would be very helpful. And can someone provide me with a breakdown of neighborhoods near Vancouver and a brief description if possible?
Lastly, is it difficult to sublet a place in Canada as an American citizen?
Oh and, which is the best mobile carrier if I want to just buy a sim card to top off.
