I'm dreading tomorrow. Today was bad enough!! Could this be record breaking heat for this time of year up here?

Some reason I doubt it, I think record max temps in 90s happened beginning of June maybe even end of May.. but I would want to check some stats before saying it.

Burlington average date to hit 90 is June 20th so they are past it now.

A few locations Yet to hit 90°..

NYC
Bridgeport
Boston
Nantucket
Worcester
Providence
Concord
Burlington

Its been almost 3 decades since NYC went this long without hitting 90.

Here's the max temps so far this year. I wonder if some co-op or local sites hit 90 in VT this year. Maybe not.

I find it ironic that I moved here partially because I hate the heat and this summer NYC hasn't hit 90 yet lol...

74 at 7am this morning. Sticky just sitting here.

We were 90 degrees yesterday and 91 right now. We didn't hit 90 in June, but we were very close. On the 3rd it was 89 degrees.

Max temps today. Hot and muggy in east. Cool and dry in mid west. That High pressure will eventually get here this weekend.

Got some nice thunderstorms early this morning...yesterday was bad but there was a breeze most of the day which helped. Can't wait til Friday and the cool down.

Is it tropical enough for you guys? lol.

A look at the dewpoints... Yellow shading is thunderstorm watches. Storms firing up ahead of the front in the tropical type air.

Here's a look at the Heat Index. Crazy real feel temps out there at noon.

You can keep them. I would trade 95 degrees for -15 in a heartbeat. I'll take working in the garden in shorts and a tee shirt over shoveling the white crap any day.
