Oh wow that sounds amazing!!!

We only hit 35 here today...heavy fog, maybe suppressed the colder air? I think Mansfield hit 32 Saturday night though.

Not sure. It wasn't a major cold air mass but the fog may have prevented the surface from radiating more.. You almost had a freezing fog!

There was actually a warmer layer at 2500' . Always fun to see.. Imagine hiking up, starting in the 30s at 500', warming to 40s at 2500' then cooling again into the 30s at 4500'.

Frost this morning Rutland

Look forward to snowball fights, white Christmas and hot chocolate.
Honestly, i would LOVE learn how to snowboarding BUT
My legs just knows how to play soccer...
Is it possible live in the winter (from home) just with Jeans and T-shirt?
Thank you, sir!

One day you'll need an Eskimo coat, another day no jacket, one day a shovel & ice pic, another day an umbrella and golashes.

if you drive, get some snow tires on come November or stay off the road if your not familiar with driving in snow.

Most importantly........ check this thread regularly as we all keep tabs on whats coming or whats happening

Good luck and ...enjoy a real winter.

Oh my godness, really?

Yeah, not even I'm complaining about this pattern (I hate warm weather). Cool nights then 60s in the day? Fine by me! Pattern changed 2 weeks ago where we aren't getting those crazy above normal anomalies anymore.. and of course the 80s are done and humidity!

Meanwhile....

Check out some snow pics from there in Montana.

Here's snow in North Dakota today, during the day

Those guys have seen snow twice already now. They must be asking, "gonna be one of those years?"
