This is how the Watches and Warnings Map looks. The Northeast Welcomes back Winter. Huge areas will be affected! Be safe guys. Conditions start after 8pm then deteriorate after midnight for VT. I dont think anyone is going anywhere in the morning until they clear the roads.

Cambium, This is Vermont, the snow may slow us down a little, but everything will go on as planned. Heck when we lived in Brookfield, the only time school was ever canceled was during mud season.
The NEK and southern Vermont is not supposed to get hit as hard as the Champlain Valley. Southern Vermont is supposed to get a little sleet and rain mixed in because of warmer temps expected and the NEK will have a "shadowing" effect from the White Mountains. I haven't looked up what the shadowing effect is yet, but it is supposed to keep snow totals less than a foot to as little as 6 inches.

I'm with 68vette - roads will suck tomorrow but our road crews will be out and about doing the best they can because life does go on here when it snows. Everything does not shut down!
10-15" predicted for Champlain Valley on WCAX!

I'm stubborn enough I left all my fisher cat traps out. Should be tons of fun tomorrow. I guess I need to get my snowshoes out for the first time in a couple years. lol
