It's still snowing. It hasn't stopped.

What's a local WFO?

Weather Forecasting Office. Did you get a chance to send in a report?

I'm putting together something now with regards to snowfall totals around the region... This storm is so widespread from texas to New England its impossible to list everything it produced.

65% of the country has snow on it now which is triple last years at this time. Every state except 3 have snow on it somewhere within the state. National Snow Analyses - NOHRSC - The ultimate source for snow information

About 6" in Lyndonville as of an hour ago and coming down steady.....probably end up with 8-9" there......unless it keeps popping all night....I know there was about 12" on the ground in Marshfield when my buddy was rabbit hunting today....

Have not yet gone outside, so I don't know how much actually fell/accumulated. However, on my fire escape, the measurement is approx. 5.5 or 6 inches piled up.
Tomorrow I'll have to go out, so if it's all still there (and it's only supposed to be 32 degrees) I may have better idea of amount.

The snow stopped at about 7pm. We have several places we were able to reliably measure the total snowfall for this storm (all were within an 1/8 of an inch). We had a hair over 10.5 inches. A little under predictions for this part of the state, but I think that was due to the snowfall not starting until after 10pm last night and ending about 12 hours before the predicted end time. Roads were decent the whole storm. They were a little greasy at times, but traffic was moving at or near the posted speed limits.
I just checked the Doppler radar, it looks like the storm is done except for a small patch of snow over in NY state. The report for the next storm on Saturday indicates it will probably miss us. Some areas in the south section of the state may get get clipped, but nothing significant.
Be safe shoveling. Most fatalities are not caused by idiots on the road. One of the big killers is shoveling snow.

Get ready for more.

Energy from the northern Jet in the Ohio valley merging with a system from the gulf will give widespread snows in the Northeast.

If you want to see where the storm is here's a link I love to use is SPC Hourly Mesoscale Analysis

Notice the Low over WV and another over North Carolina. They are about to merge together and the NC low will head up the coast and bomb out.

And if you want to see where the pressures are lowering which is a sign of strengthening use this. http://www.spc.noaa.gov/sfctest/new/viewsector.php?sector=17&parm=pchg&underlay=0
