You guys "may have" gotten screwed out of snow this weekend as the trends have been south more with the storm. We'll see!

Excellent and long post by Eric Fisher regarding this weekend. He covers it all without the hype.

That was a great link...will be interesting to see how things progress. Quite frankly, after the weather of the last 2 weeks, I'm fine if we switch to snow. This rain/gray/gloom is getting old.

This time of year and winter I refresh and check the models everywhere I am and before even coffee. After seeing the Euro update I didn't need coffee. My eyes went wide open. LOL!!

In short it blows up the storm stronger off the coast and stays near the coast up the coast. lol

Maine gets buried on that update but the other models don't agree so we have to throw it out for now.

I started a thread on this potential in the weather forum just so I don't go too off topic here.

Can someone post part of NWS Burlington or Albany discussion for Vermont here? Or maybe what their local meteos are saying?

Southern Vermont may be the higher chances then northern Vermont now. Sounds familiar past few years. Seems like we get a lot of coastals lately favoring southern half.

Front passed by this afternoon with a little rain..

Snow accumulation chances are almost gone now for Saturday but there's still scattered stuff around, no big deal at all!

BTV

" FOR NOW CONTINUING THE IDEA THAT THE OUR AREA WILL ONLY GET LIGHT RAIN/SNOW SHOWERS OVER THE WEEKEND WITH MOST AREAS COLD ENOUGH TO SEE A SOME FLAKES ESPECIALLY OVER THE HIGHER TERRAIN WHERE MOSTLY SNOW SHOWERS IS EXPECTED WITH LIGHT ACCUMULATIONS. IF THE LOW TRACKS A LITTLE FURTHER WEST, PERHAPS EASTERN VT MAY GET IN ON SOME LIGHT BUT STEADIER PRECIPITATION "

Had some flurries today on and off, and also some rain...I don't think we got above 38, and if we did, it didn't feel like!

Nice. I still can't believe the southeast got snow before the northeast. Pretty sick to see snow pics from Georgia, NC, SC and Tennessee.

Closer to home... From Jay Peak..

Incredibly windy today, wonder how many leaves will be left (on trees) after this ? Last year the trees were bare by mid-November.
