Snow began here overnight/this morning, then turned to rain-but there are still a few pockets of icy slush:

Nice! Whats your running total for the season now? I haven't even checked the latest coming up I've been busy focusing on the FEETS of snow that's fallen around Buffalo.

Pattern changes a bit but then should reload with the cold. I really need to check the models, there might be a snowstorm coming & I don't even know it.

20s outside down to Florida this morning. First time the coast getting to 23 this early since 1996.

So Lexington Kentucky and Oklahoma City got more snow than Burlington Vermont and Concord,NH this month so far.

Don't you wish we had records for every town? I'm sure other parts of VT have more than 3" as tkln has posted but BTV only has 0.6" so far

If any of you are travelling tomorrow heads up! Snowstorm for northeast.

4-8" for southern VT possible but 8-12" south of there. Travel delays should be widespread in the Northeast Wednesday.

As of last night, we had a 40% chance of 'light snow'. This morning...winter weather watch, 4-8" possible. We'll see how it develops. Hope everyone is safe out there in their travels.

Yesterday's high was near 60 degrees-I had the windows wide open all day.
Tomorrow's forecast predicts up to a foot of snow (through Thurs.)-though precip. amounts are subject to change.
Gosh !
Since I like it when it's 60 degrees out, and I like it when there's lots of snow, I'm content...
Just surprised at how the weather seems as if it will shift quite rapidly from one extreme to the other.

Updated to a winter storm warning here, with 8-12" predicted. I guess the storm has shifted north...or has gotten bigger lol.

Good luck and be safe guys. Happy Thanksgiving. Looks like a white one. I went from 4-8" to 1-2" now. Heaviest snow axis shifted west and so Vermont now in it.

Here;'s the latest NWS snow total forecast I pieced together

Still a big snowstorm for this time of year ... so be safe out there.
